Westside: A Jesus Church began in 2004 on the West side of Portland, Oregon. From the very start, it was a community that cultivated creativity, beauty, and passion into their expression of corporate worship and singing. 16 years later, the church has grown and flourished as new sounds, and new songs have begun to arise out of the overflow of what God is doing in the hearts and minds of his people. In October of 2019, the very first “A Jesus Church” 10 song LIVE album was recorded.

A Jesus Church Music is a collection of worship leaders, creatives, and musicians with the same heartbeat. With the same desire to make much of Jesus, become more like him, and draw others into an authentic expression of adoration and surrender to Jesus. His will and His way.

The common thread that weaves its way through this album is - “as it is in Heaven.” From the words of Jesus in the Lord’s Prayer - “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” It’s a cry from the Church, for God’s Kingdom to be established and experienced here on the earth - inviting His rule and reign over our lives, our churches, and our world. And making a bold confession of faith in Jesus…believing that in every circumstance, He is present with us. Walking with us, leading us, and speaking words of love and identity over our lives. And in turn, our response to his great love for us, is our passionate worship, and adoration. For He is Holy, and Worthy of all of our praise.
