As a Dove Award-Winning songwriter, National Best-Selling author and veteran worship leader and speaker, Michael is influencing a generation of worshipers and creators in the local church. His mission is Helping people experience God through songs and stories. His songs have been recorded by artists such as Michael W. Smith, Natalie Grant, Rebecca St. James, Kutless, Anthony Evans, Phillips, Craig & Dean, and Shane & Shane to name a few.

He is author of the National Best-Selling The River, its sequel Into the Canyon, and the devotional Your Great Name, based on his song by the same title.

Michael serves as the lead worship pastor of Prestonwood Church in Plano, TX while leading and speaking at conferences around the country. He and his wife Leah, along with their three children Micah, Maisie and Wyatt love doing life and ministry in Texas.
